Truck Pics

These are a couple of pics of the
Truck i was driving for Highland Transport back in 2000 to 2002.

I had 3 other trucks after this one was sold, The other one was Freightliner like the one above and 2 Volvos ( if they can call Volvo's trucks) Fortunatly I don't have any pics of the Volvo's..


When I get back to driving, I will put the link to the Company here, as well some more pics of the truck, and places where i have been, etc

One place i'm was looking at was yanke.ca, But after a couple of weeks of not hearing from thewm, and/or getting weird answers, i guess i will look elsewhere. More later

On January 14th, 2006 I sent an onine applicaton to Travelers Transport. They called me back on the 16, and then sent an application for me to fill out and then send back. By the 20th, I found out that I will be going to do a drive test, and then bob-tailing to brampton for 4 days of courses. I then will be going out with a trainer. depending on the report of the trainer i could find myself in a truck again. Wish me luck. More later

January 30th 2006.

  I'm heading out with a trainer around 1300 hours, not sure exactly where we are going, but i'm sure it is New york city. Personally, i don't want to go there, but i got to get back behind the wheel, so i guess i'm going there. Don't know how long i'll be on the road, so i'll add more stuff when i get back. Chow for now.

  February 3rd 2006 I have a truck. It is Kenworth T2000. Dark blue. I am heading out on my first trip, this sunday. I'll be heading to middleton, NY. Then i'll be heading to williamson, and then up to Montreal. Both days should produce around 6 to 8 hundred miles. I got the truck last night, but had to wait till i talked to the mechanics and the dispatchers before heading out on the first leg of the journey. Home that is. To load up the truck with everything i will need to make this work.

Here is a couple of pics of the current truck, The passenger side is the better pic, as you can see why in the driver side pic. Yes it's an oopsie. Some dumb ass decided that my truck needed to look like a work truck, and not a show truck..

  Dec 27 2006 It has been almost a year since i got this truck, actually closer to 11 months, and it has been an interesting time. However, i have been finding that i am losing interest in the job. With all the new rules and regs, it is going to be almost impossible to make any money doing long haul. I am looking for local work these days, If Travelers can accomidate me then i'll stay, but if not well Travel on Travelers.

It has been almost a month since i last wrote here, and things are still the same. Feb 1st will be a busy one for me, as i have to deal with parking issues, bank stuff, other bills!

Added on to that, i will be checking into a couple of ideas for work in the ottawa area. I'm not sure of the success, but it has to get done!
